Network Research Scans
Why am I seeing traffic from this scanner?
We study Internet infrastructure and the availability of publicly reachable services. Your IP address may belong to a network range selected for these measurements. We use the ZMap scanner to send TCP probes and identify reachable ports; a response does not mean that a system is vulnerable. These measurements do not attempt to exploit vulnerabilities or change device configurations. We collect only the response data available through publicly accessible network services.
How can I exclude my address or network?
To request exclusion from future scans, email
admin@ihr.live
with the IP addresses or CIDR prefixes you want excluded, one per line
(for example, 192.0.2.0/24 for a network or
198.51.100.42/32 for a single address; these are documentation
examples). Please confirm that you operate the network or are authorized
to make the request. No reason for opting out is required. We process
requests manually and confirm by email once the exclusion is applied,
so sending an email does not immediately stop an active scan. You can
also block the scanner source addresses recorded in your firewall logs.
